I might fear getting older. Aging such as getting more wrinkles on my face and weakened my body is not what I’m afraid of. I can understand and accept the fact that my organs will be getting deteriorated and eventually get sick as time goes by. Without a doubt, I will be having health problems more and more. We all have to face mortality. It is understandable. However, what I’m really scared of is facing death all of a sudden without being prepared. I’m living at this moment without thinking of death. We are already busy with our daily routine. We don’t have time to think about our life, death, how to live, etc. We put them away as if they have nothing to do with our lives or even if we do, they are not the priority on my to-do list. A day, a week, a month, and a year will go away quietly without being recognized. And one day we might find ourselves standing in the finish line of our life. Looking back at the terminus of our life, we might realize and regret the time passed.

Good Tuesday to you Sir [이름]!

How are you doing today?

I hope you had enough sleep last night.

Me, too. But what I am really scared of is that my parents are getting older.
I hope that they will have a long life.

I want to be with my parents until I get old.

I know that is somewhat impossible, but I always pray that they will have a healthy and long life.

Anyway, thank you so much for your time.

Talk to you soon.
