What is a very important skill a person should learn in order to be successful in the world today?

There can be various skills to make people successful in the world. Some people may think of presentation skill because it is definitely required to work at company. Others may consider communication ability as an important one to success. Of course, I think that those skills are important but in my case, language ability, particularly English, is very important to be successful in the world. English is global language and expecially in a business field it is utilized as a common language. I think that it is okay if one cannot speak English well but it might prevent him from being promoted and successful at company. This is because most of company want to go to abroad if its market share in domestic is enough huge. At a time like this, if he cannot use English well, he won't be able to show his ability and to get an opportunity to be promoted. English isn't everything to be successful in the world, but I can't deny that mastering English can make possibility to success much higher.
