What is the difference between \'house\' and \'home\'?
학생이 쓴 원문
A dictionary says a house means a building where a family lives. On the contrary, a home signifies the place where a family lives together. In short, a physical form of a home can be a house. And the word home sometimes relates to mental things such as \'homesick\', \'hometown, etc. On the other hand, a house is a little far from mentalities.
With the difference between house and home, I couldn\'t have differentiated two words until I graduated from university because both two words have the same Korean pronunciation \"Jip\". Many Korean students including me seemed to be busy just getting better points on a test that they don\'t have time to think about each word\'s unique meaning or particular usage when they learned English. It\'s like putting the cart before the horse. With this learning method, I can improve my English test score for a short period, but it doesn\'t help to improve my English skills. This is a sad situation that many Koreas go through after many years of studying English.

Good afternoon, Steve! ^^,)
Thank you for this composition.
Knowing how to speak English can open new life possibilities: from traveling more easily to communicating with more people, and even getting better jobs.
English is everywhere. No matter where you live, you can find menus, marketing materials, books, movies, road signs, and more with the English language. The more you immerse yourself and pay attention to these daily pieces of English, the stronger your foundation will be.
