I majored in History. Since I was young, I wanted to introduce a lot of historical sites or heritage to many people by connecting domestic companies related to tourism with ones in abroad, and that needed a lot of knowledge on historical base. In university, sourcing a lot of information while studying history helped me a lot to improve data analyzing skill. Also, I learned the importance of transparency for someone who takes charge of public position while I was working at students’ council. From then on, I wanted to work in the field of procurement in public company, where both data analysis skill and transparency is required.

LONG VERSION:

>>> I took up History in university. What I liked about it was how much research and analysis it required. I was constantly digging into sources and making sense of complex information. That skill turned out to be really useful when I interned in procurement, where I worked with supplier data and learned how important accuracy and fairness are. On top of that, my time in the student council taught me firsthand why transparency matters when you’re responsible for budgets and decisions that affect others. Altogether, those experiences made me realize procurement in government is a great fit for me; it combines the analytical side I developed through history with the values of accountability and transparency I practiced in student leadership.

SHORT VERSION:

>>>  majored in History, which gave me strong research and analytical skills from working with complex sources. Those skills proved valuable during my procurement internship, where I handled supplier data and learned the importance of fairness and efficiency. My time in the student council also taught me transparency and accountability in managing budgets. Altogether, these experiences showed me that procurement in government is the right fit, because it requires careful analysis, responsible resource management, and integrity.
