I don't think fostering children is common in Korea. I have read the news about single mothers. Children have been abandoned by single mothers. This is very serious social problem. So some people built the facility for abandoned babies. They would bring up children and if somebody would like to adapt babies, the facility would send their babies to foster parents. Our country has begun the education about contraception for youth. So we expect to prevent delivering unwanted babies.
