What is your take on spending for exorbitantly-priced weddings to show affluence?

I guess that having a fancy wedding is the dream of all women.

Most men would like to buy luxury car, if they can afford purchase it and most women want to luxury bags like Gucci, Chanel and Burberry.

I have seen a fancy wedding in UAE, it was Indian wedding and they rented whole facility of golf club.
