What is your view of the idea that to apologize shows a sign of weakness

I disagree that the apology shows a sign of weakness. Approval about my mistake and give the apology properly is very brave action. People easily hide their mistakes, but it is sometimes this action will wound a person's heart. For example, I have a story. Last week CEO asked me to take a project, So I said "Yes". But today, they change their mind without any notice. They must have to say their decision to me first. But they didn't say anything. They think this is nothing. But I totally lose the trust about my company. They did this kind of thing very often without apology. The apology is not the sign of the weakness. If they think that the apology is to approve their mistakes, they will lose reliability just like as me. Apologizing the right time right word is the basic of expectations and communication. It doesn't mean showing a weakness, but showing the respect about the other person.

An apology is an admission that you’ve wronged others and that you are actually sorry for it. This is actually the reason why many of us find it difficult to apologize. No one likes to admit they are wrong or they screwed up because no one likes the complicated, defeated feelings that go along with it.  No one likes to go to other people, publicly or privately, and admit to them that they’ve been wrong. It is, literally, humiliating, since apologizing almost always requires humility and a willingness to put the needs of those you have wronged over your own. Humans are ego-bound creatures, that\'s why apologizing is a very hard thing to do. I honestly think that the ability to admit that you are wrong over something and apologizing for it are very brave actions. It requires great humility to do such thing and it\'s not easy that\'s why I admire those people who are capable of doing it. To tell you the truth, I admire and respect those people more because they know that they are not perfect and they are bound to commit mistakes at times. Thank you for this composition [이름].
