I am working as a radiation therapist at hospital. My main role is delivering radiation to cancer patients for treatment or reducing pain purposes. I do general examination by using CT machine and do treatment planning with the dedicated computer. However, I can\'t carry out quality assurance check because of my qualification. If I have a license or certificate of physicist who in charge of QA and research, I can be a responsible person of it. There are so many problem to be a medical physicist in Korea. Our country doesn\'t have license on this job by the law, so nobody is not qualified as a medical physicist by the law. As I know, people have a master degree on this field are able to work as a medical physicist but they are not still qualified by the law. It can be a chance for me to be a medical physicist because we don\'t have exact license system yet.
