What motivates you to keep working?

The gratification of overcoming an obstacle is my motivator. Exceeding the expectation through constant learning thrills me. For example, I am currently working at a consulting firm where I had to provide clients with advice based on their human capital management practices. Even though the analysis was based on reading a market trend through data analytics, I needed some insight into human resources practices. However, from my previous experience, including university, I haven’t had an opportunity to deeply engage in human resources matters. Accordingly, I went through some after-work studies, from basic terminologies to overall HR trends, through various articles and analyses published by research institutions. Currently, I can provide a customer with advice based on data and market trend analysis, which led to a 50% growth in the customer base. The feeling of accomplishment that comes with exceeding challenges drew me to a career in data analytics in the financial service industry.
