What regulations do you think countries should have to make a more pet-friendly society?

Pets’ welfare regulations are required in pet friendly society. This law can include one to elevate pets’ physical wellness such as preventing pets from illness and receiving enough nutriment and protecting them from any form of cruelty. According to the UK Animal Welfare Act 2006, it is illegal in the UK to crop a dog’s ears in whole or in part and the owner can face penalties including a maximum of six months in prison or an unlimited fine if violated. In South Korea, many owners do ear cropping for beauty purposes. For the past several years, there has been an increase in pet raising population. Since then, the government came up with regulations targeting pets owners’ duties such as having pets to wear a muzzle and prohibiting pets from public transportation. Therefore, there is also a drastic increase in people abandoning pets without being penalized. To ensure a pet friendly society, there should be laws protecting pets’ rights to elevate awareness and responsibility.
