Finding a cure for cancer and a clean form of energy are just some examples of the application of science in the real world. The increase in lifespan is also a direct effect of scientific research, for instance, the invention of medicines, such as penicillin. Science has not only changed how we live but also what we believe. In the past, scholars believed that the world was flat and people would fall if they go to the end of the Earth.
