It is a problem working as a temporary worker in Korea for the this century. When the candidate of the president challenged the erection, this issue was the first pledge. One of my colleagues was working as a temporary radiation therapist in our hospital. The general contract in Korea is two years and he made a contract with hospital as usual. He was working really hard and He look like better than other technician in my department. His performance was enough to be a regular worker. But our country has a law that if company hire somebody and they are working more than 2 years, company must hire them as a regular worker. It is good regulation and people can think that if they are working hard and be recognized their ability, they believe that they can be a regular worker. However, there is limited spaces in the department, so we did not have space to hire him. Finally he was fired from the hospital because he did not have any chance to take an interview. I felt shame at that time.
