What’s the most unique winter vacation spot you’ve been to?
학생이 쓴 원문
The most unique and memorable place I have ever visited in winter is Michigan state in USA.
It was January 2008 when I went there with my family.
Winters in Korea are cold, but Michigan state is surrounded by large lakes, so I already knew that it was a very cold place, but when I actually got there, it was much colder than I thought.
I had to wake up early every morning and start my day by clearing the snow from my car and turning on the heater to melt it.
Also, skiing in Korea is generally downhill skiing, where you take a lift from the bottom, go up to the top, and ski down from there.
In the US state of Michigan, there are no high mountains, so cross-country skiing, which involves skiing on flat ground, was popular.
Although 16 years have passed, it was a unique memory that is difficult to experience in Korea.
