I have not experienced learning many foreign languages. I have learned English, Japanese, and Chinese. I’ve learned Japanese for quite a long time and reached the intermittent level. However, I have not had a chance to actually use it, so that I forgot almost everything I learned before. As for Chinese, I studied only for three months in 1994 when I worked for my previous company. My former company run the language class for employees. I took a morning class before starting work in the morning. Chinese was too difficult for me, so I quitted learning only after studying for three months. Unlike other alphabet based languages, Chinese does not have such consonants or vowels. You have to memorize each single letter although there are some rules to make a letter. The worst thing is pronunciation. Chinese has four different tones, which make you feel more difficult to learn. But, I now regret that I gave up. China has grown so fast recently, and it is now dominating the world economy.

Wow! You can speak about four languages!

Great! I do understand, there are really situations wherein we can\'t continue anymore because of difficulties.

But it is not yet late, Sir [이름]. You still have time to learn Chinese again.

I know by this time, you won\'t give up like learning English.

You are a determined person, I know you can overcome the trials that will come your way.

You can do it, have a great day.
