What would you do, if you were on a desert island alone?

Actually, few months ago, I watched a famous film - "Get away" again. While I watched it, I imagined about the life on an island alone. Maybe it's hard to survive without any modern things. There is no food, no water, no house, no clothes... through these difficulties, the main charactor could survive for a couple of years. However, he finally decided to leave the island because of the loneliness. The movie had a happy ending. But I don't think I can survive in that environment. Especially it's a desert island, there seems nothing I can use to make a boat. All I can try is wait somebody's rescue and help.
