When do parents' stop giving financial support to their children?
학생이 쓴 원문
Almost all Korean parents support their kids financially until they graduate from college. Unlike children in western countries, many children in Korea do not engage in economic activities to earn money. They take it granted to get financial support from their parents. But even after graduating from college and getting married, some adults still get financial support from their parents for a higher education for when they do not have jobs. And the biggest problem is that parents regard it as their duties to support their children in renting or buying a house when they get married. It became a general practice in Korea because it is a man’s responsibility to prepare a house, while a woman fills the house with furniture and household appliances when they get married. Without his parents’ support, he cannot afford to rent a 3-bed room apartment because of the high housing price and the small money he could save after graduating from college. If your parents do not have money???
