When was the last time you helped someone? What did you do?

The last time I helped someone was when I did a volunteer work for the young students. I was enrolled in the volunteer club which teaches elementary school English and math. Through the club, I met a 4th grader student and she wanted to learn math from me. So, I bought a book for her and made a weekly test for her. At first, she had a hard time trying to figure out math problems and do all the assignments I gave to her. However, she soon got used to solving math problems easily and her math skills quickly advanced. As a mentor, I felt very proud of her that she followed the difficult course. One year later, on the last day of our mentoring volunteer programs, she made me happy by getting a perfect score on her math test. Also, she gave me a letter and a small gift. I was so touched that she liked my classes and received a lot of help from me. Her letter made me feel proud of myself for what I did and made me decided to do more volunteer works.
