When you shop is it customary to haggle in your country? Are you any good at haggling?

It is quite common in Korea to haggle when you buy things at street markets or shopping malls. I’m not good at haggling, so I have been ripped off many times. I don’t try to haggle over the price of things especially when I buy a small item from an old grandmother on the streets. Instead of haggling, I tend to give them more. Women tend to be good at negotiating and cutting prices. However, what I cannot understand is that they strive to cut down just a penny from street vendors like old ladies for sprouts or spinaches which prices are just a dollar. Ironically, when they shop luxury goods like brand bags or clothes at a department store, they don’t even try to ask for any discounts. The more expensive, the quitter they are. Because I don’t enjoy haggling, I often buy things from online shoppers via the internet. There are many web sites via which you can compare prices. You can get ample information about the product we want to buy such as price, quality, and reviews.
