Which city in your country do you consider the most dangerous and why?

Like all countries, crimes exists in Korea. But for foreigners or even local people, there’s not much to worry about. Violent street crime is very rare and that means you don’t have to worry about muggings, random beatings, kidnappings, etc. Korea is one of the safest countries in the world, so there are no specific cities or towns that are off limits to you. There are no slum areas or districts like the United States that you are warned not to enter. You can walk around freely even late at night without feeling scared or you are in danger. The city lights are super bright and there is still a crowd of people walking at midnight. The crime rate is very low and there are few deadly weapon related incidents. Korea has pretty robust security systems that contribute to the low crime rate. You will see that a six year old girl walks home by herself and even ride the subway by herself. Most cops don’t carry guns. Guns are strictly prohibited.
