I think face-to-face medical consultation is better than online medical consultation because I think doctors can check the patient more exactly through face-to-face medical consultation. However, in a remote country where people take a few hours to go to the nearest hospital, people can resort to online medical checkups to maintain their health.
Online medical consultation is still against the law in Korea, but I think the government must make this online medical checkup legal and support it actively.
Consequently, many people are living far away from health services, such as hospitals and public health centers, we need to narrow the dead zone of health service at all costs.
