In Korea, it is a quite common and general practice that couples combine their finances after marriage and a wife becomes the financial controller of the family. This is because a man is typically not good at managing finance and he tends to waste money for drinking, social gathering, etc rather than saving money for rainy days, while a wife is conscious about spending money more than her husband. Combining accounts seems to be a major step to show that how much you care for each other. After getting married, my money becomes “our” money. These days, this trend is changing and many young couples manage their own finances even after getting married. In my opinion, if your family have double incomes, it is better for just one person to act as the family accountant or financial controller. And the person should be the one who is more frugal and better in financing such as budgeting, spending, tracking expenses, and managing investment regardless of whether he/she is a wife or a husband

Good evening Sir [이름] ^-^Happy Wednesday! Thank you for doing your homework today. ^^ I do agree with you. It\'s because my mom manages the house. I think it is true that women are more conscious when it comes to financial matters but some men are better when it comes to saving money for rainy days. You were able to give me great examples to elaborate your ideas more. Keep it up! See you in class!
