Why did you choose English as your major?

I chose English as a major for two reasons.The first is because learing forign language is so attractive.As I started studying English,I learned a lot of knowledge with English and my idea about the world changed more understandable and ucceptable for differences.I feel I become open-hearted and open minded person who is important to live in this globalized world.In addition,I can use English everywhere not only when I teach it in class.I can go abroad,travel around the world,and I can make a lot of forign friends.The second reason is English education is a major subject and the public school needs many competent teachers.I can say I have a talent at teaching Englsih and I'm going to develop differnt and divese activities so I want to give the students the inspiration to learn English.
