Why did you choose your major?

I decided to get my degree in international finance for two reasons. Initial reasons were from the genuine interest about global affairs. I have enjoyed reading the news since I was the young. Throughout the experience, I found the correlations of those events with finance and wished to learn the financial module in-depth. On top of that, I was drawn to the fact that finance is not limited to calculating equations. Multidisciplinary external factors impact the economic landscape, so it was vital to analyze the contexts and graphs. This experience allowed me to learn an analytical mindset while developing financial literacy. From the job description, the sales associate is responsible for winning many sales contexts and offering clients data-driven advice based on their needs and workflows within the global financial market. I believe I could transfer my knowledge back as an international finance major.
