Why do people believe YouTubers even if they are not experts?

Many people believe blindly on YouTube. In my perspective, these beliefs are derived by two factors. First reason would be accessibility. Now many people have YouTube apps on their phone, so they can access the information instantly without any distraction and charge. For more advanced and detailed information, people must search for it and sometimes they need to pay for the service. However, they can search video instantly by typing keywords or in most cases, the video automatically shows up in the feeds based on the algorithms. Second reason would be the fact that these contents are easy to understand. It is important for YouTube videos to be easy because viewers would leave instantly if it were difficult to comprehend. Therefore, YouTubers focus on using simple jargons and use examples and metaphors even though those can lead to information distortion. However, the main purpose of the articles is to convey correct information so sometimes it would be hard for readers to understand.
