Why do people get tattoos?

I don\'t know why actually, but some people think getting tattoos is looks very cool or it can shows their attitude and image. Or particular tribe maybe get tattoos for belong to. However, I think getting tattoos is not good. It\'s because it is hard to erase and if we get tattoos it is very hurt because ink is permeate from needle.
