Why do some people gamble?

Gambling is one of the funniest game. People dream of making a lot of money regardless of the way. Korea has a traditional game which is called Hwatoo, similar with playing cards. We usually play it on New years day or Thanks giving day with family and relatives. If someone win a game, players have to give money to winner according to scores. The game money differ according to the decision which is agreed before the game. If it is high stakes, we can consider it as a gambling, but stakes are usually small amount because it is just having fun. I have a friend who love gambling. he went to casino just for fun even though he had an experience lost quite a lot of money when he was young. I can\'t understand why he can\'t quit gambling. I think he is addicted to play it. I guess all people have desire to make money with easy way such as lottery. That\'s why people go to the casino and purchase lottery every week.
