Why do you think former president Moon Jae-in’s nuclear phase-out policy was a failure?

Ex-president admistration would like to use green energy such as water, wind and solar power instead of nuclear power due to the unexpected accident. Nuclear phase-out policy was the the main pledge at the presidential election in 2017. Moon announced that he would not install new nuclear power plants and would not extend the lifespans of existing ones. However, Korea doesn\'t have underground energy resources such as oil and coal. Renewable energy is not very efficient. Wind porwer is weak and solar power generation is available only during the day. They can\'t compete with nuclear energy in efficiency. The energy prices are skyrocketing nowadays due to the war between Ukline and Russia and economic crisis. There is only one accident cause by nuclear palnts in Chernobyl. I think we have managed this facilitis very well and are skilled enough. So it is one of the important sources to provide electricities with cheep price. I believe it is ok to operate nuclear plants in my country.
