There are two different views. Some people believe that differences between sexes are native and have nothing to do with education and life style, and on the other hand, there are those who think that life experiences and lessons we get from those around us totally influence our behavior. However, regardless of which theory is right, it is true that boys and girls have been raised and treated differently in most societies in human history. Even before they are borne, babies are characterized in accordance to a range of stereotypes related to sex. Children were educated that a boy should be brave, not cry, and protect women, while a girl should be biddable and asks an adult before trying something new or risky. The stereotyped concept applies to adults. When a couple goes on a date, a man is expected to treat a girl and many girls take it as grated and even ask for more. However, the equal opportunity can be achieved when you become independent financially.

Thanks for sharing a very comprehensive thought about this gender stereotyping.
Even if we are already in an advanced era and the generation nowadays is open minded (mostly), there are still some people who have this kind of stereotyping when it comes to a man and a woman.
