Why doesn't the woman pay equal to man.?

When a man asks a woman for a date, It's very common for a man to pay the whole thing in Korea. I just think It's fair that man could pay the bill on first time or second time they met. However after thid time, I think that they should split the bill. However, It actually doesn't in Korea It feels not good when we have the lunch and she waits for me paying the bill with a indirect glimpse. Of course I could pay the bill but I just believe whoever has more money could pay the bill. That would be I or she. What I can't tolerate at is that some girls no wonder the man should pay all the thing when dating. It doesn't mean I'm very narrow-minded man. I'm just thinking we have to take the consideration of it. I'm not so brave that I couldn't tell her that we can pay half each other.
