Running a business is hard. All we want is to keep customers happy; but sometimes things just don’t work out the way we want because we fail at customer service. The consequence understandably is big. Awful customer service could lead to customers leaving your company with no intention of turning back. This is since with so many alternatives like competitors existing, today’s customer doesn’t have to tolerate such poor service.They will just run to our competitors and never return. As such, how to prevent this downfall thus becomes integral, albeit it’s not easy. There are some reasons why our company might fail to deliver great customer service. Lack of training. Many companies focus on sales and marketing because they think making a profit is the only thing that matters. However, looking at long-term effects, training customer service is actually a good investment, since customer service affects the activities of customer before, during, and after they made a purchase decision.
