I was born in Seoul, South Korea, in 1988, and lived there until I came to Japan. I thought somedays I would go to united states and enjoy my life there. When I was 22, I won the hard competition with ratio of 1:7 and worked as a translator between Korean army force and U.S. Army force as a KATUSA. Terminating the military service, I studied as hard as I could with my wife. With all the efforts, She and I were able to enter the same medical school and graduate. My wife loves Japan a lot. One day, she heard that a foreign doctor could be qualified to take JMLE. We studied together and passed the exam. Now we have both Korean and Japanese medical licenses. My wife and I came to Hokkaido, Japan three years ago. Since I had to serve the military, my wife became a doctor one year earlier than me even though we were born in the same year. I started to work one year later than her, but we are working in the same hospital as anesthesiologists. I am satisfied with life here
