I used to love dogs a lot. When I was a teen ager, I would collect postcards of puppies and I even applied for a part time job at a pet store to see dogs but it ended up not getting that job. I still dream of my first pet, dog 'PPoppi' once in a while. However, surprisingly, after I have my son who is 6 years onld now, Dogs are not that adorable any more. They look still cute but I have a thousand times more adorable, son. A few days ago. I told this to my colleague whe is also a mom. She agreed with me and said that dogs are not that cute any more but they are even considered as creatures which threaten her child for her. I felt exact same as her. Sometimes I and my son come across little cute puppies barking at my son on the street. It doesn't matter how they are cute and adorable. They are just bad monsters which scare my son. Being a mom, sometimes it changes your favors or sometimes you have to give up your career but whatever you change or give up, it worth being it.

Yes, it\'s not 100% safe to have a pet when you have a child. But I think it\'s not always the case. There\'s always a chance that your pet will be the one who will protect your kid. There are a lot of news, articles, videos or photos showing that a pet was looking after the child\'s welfare. They can be your child\'s savior too! But of course, it\'s not certain. :) Being a mother, I think, will make you very, very cautious.
