Wow, it\'s already the first day of July! The half of a year has passed!. It\'s gone! Forever..saddly..Time flies not like an arrow, but like a rocket to me!
In your culture, do the children have to support their parents financially after they retire?
It\'s different family by family. If the children have some money, time and eventually the willingness to support their parents. they would support, no matter how hard supporting their parents would be and no matter how much money it would cost.
However considering the fact that the number of the nursing home is increasing rapidly, we could easily assume that the number of the children not willing to support their parents is getting higher. And the children these days seem to tend to choose to live only with their family : their spouse and children, leaving their parents either at their house or in a facility for seniors, like a nursing home.
