Writing Task (Mar 4th, 2022)

Do you think people have less goals as they get older? Have you ever done something silly that you wish you had not done? >> It was when I went surf with my friend and the other two women who were 10 years younger than me. And it was 2 months before my wife gave a birth to a child. I was supposed to go with the other 7 members ; half of whom were married men and married women. All of us had met once a week, only on the Sunday morning for 2 hours just to study English at a cafe in downtown. One of the members of the gathering was a VIP member of a Surf Club. So she invited all of us, 8, to the Club. We were excited and about to go surf all together. But on the day of departure, half of the members who were the other married people told me that they could not go with. That’s how I went with a man and two women. And after I told my wife the fact when I get back home, she got mad! She’s been saying about the incident until now, for nearly 6 years. I shouldn’t have said the truth.
