Would you rather live in the mountains or on the beach?
Either is good for me.
However, my daughter would choose to live near the beach. She love to play with sand, especially the sand on the beach, which is softer than the one on the ground. And she could easily get the water using a toy basket when she needs it. Sometimes she feeds seagulls.
Now that I wrote about the preferance of my daughter, living on the beach would be better.
