Which is more important, increasing people\'s standard of living, or protecting the environment?
I don\'t think these two things collide with each other. We can increase the quality of people\'s lives while protecting environment. However catching two rabbits at once like mentioned, above would cost much more money than when we only pursue the quality life and abandon the environmental protection. In this capitalistic society, the blood, the mainstream that enables us to do anything is MONEY. Therefore, entrepreneurs don\'t dare to take an adventure to spend huge lot of money to protect the environment while running their businesses. There\'s just few of them who really care about the environment pollution
